As I’m sure many of you know, in the past I can be very difficult to get hold of. This past year I have put a great deal of effort into solving that problem. Please note the new mailing address is Glen Childs 1 Thor Lake, Capreol, Ontario, P0M 1H0. In the past the postal service left a lot to be desired and was certainly not reliable, this should solve that problem. I also put in a satellite dish at camp last summer that allows me to now receive my e-mails at camp glenchilds@mckeescamp.com and I have just completed installing another phone line. I can now be reached at (905) 481-0601, for those of you in the Hamilton area it will be a local call for you. The main reason for adding the second phone is that it comes with all the bells and whistles and allows me to have an answering machine attached, So, should I miss your call just leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible. The new phone works well but you will notice about a one second delay when I’m speaking to you, as the voice must first be digitized, sent to the satellite, then back down to earth to the phone system. That’s along way to go. I’m sure this will make me much more accessible and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
